Child Development Center successfully hosted the First Annual Autism Outreach and Training Conference in 2015. A special thank you to our Silver Sponsor, Salam International, for their generous support!

This conference was designed to provide comprehensive, evidence-based information to assist professionals, educators, and families with the tools necessary to support individuals with ASD and related disorders. It focused on addressing real-life situations faced by those who work directly with these individuals. A panel of international experts presented strategies that exemplify best and most current global practices.

The conference was geared towards professionals in Qatar as well as the Middle East region who interact with autistic children. This includes but is not limited to: education (teachers, administration, counselors), healthcare (pediatricians, therapists), and specialists in the fields of OT, SLP, PT, and ABA. There were over 100 registrants.
