— EARLY INTERVENTION

Early Intervention in Doha, Qatar

Individualized, evidence-based Early Intervention supporting young children’s communication, learning, social interaction, independence and school readiness.

At Child Development Center, our Early Intervention program provides individualized support for young children with developmental delays, autism and other developmental needs. Our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively with families and caregivers to build foundational skills, support participation in everyday life and prepare children for successful transitions into nursery and school.

At CDC, speech and language therapy begins with understanding each child's individual communication profile, strengths and needs. Following assessment, our Speech-Language Pathologists develop meaningful goals together with families and, where appropriate, the child's wider multidisciplinary team.

Therapy may focus on speech development, receptive and expressive language, social communication, functional communication and AAC, depending on the child's individual communication needs.

Our approach is individualized, evidence-based and designed to help children communicate more effectively and participate more confidently across home, school and everyday environments.

How Speech & Language Therapy Works at CDC

01 — Assessment & Understanding
We begin by understanding the child's communication strengths, needs and current skills through assessment, observation and discussion with the family.

02 — Individualized Goals
Meaningful and measurable goals are developed around the child's speech, language, communication and participation in everyday life.

03 — Individualized Therapy
Speech and language therapy sessions are delivered according to the child's individual program, using evidence-based approaches and strategies appropriate to their communication needs.

04 — Progress, Collaboration & Review
Progress is monitored regularly and goals are adjusted as the child develops. Families, caregivers, schools and other members of the multidisciplinary team are involved when appropriate.

Parent and caregiver involvement is an important part of our approach, helping communication skills learned in therapy carry over into everyday life.
